I have many Japanese kimono textiles. Those textiles are traditionally made of silks. It is usually expensive and uneasy to keep fine as their quality in your closet. Moth-eaten, stains (it would be caused by humidity, I am not so sure though) you have to take care of. It is not only that but also, uneasy to wash, dry-cleaning should be suitable, hand-wash would be the least ( technically difficult for most of the people. perhaps, it shrinks up and difficult to do the ironing on it). Can not take the high-temperature ironing for sensitive silk. It must be the low-temperature.
From the reasons above, Kimono has been kept in a paulownia wooden drawers (it is typically called that Kiridansu) for years and years.
I can not bear them to become wasting money. I decided to make the usual trousers with one Kimono textile. The textile's name: Oshima (Japanese silk 100%) The Oshima is one of the toughest Kimono textiles.
These trousers nice to wear in Springs and Autumns. The waist size is adjustable. (80-88cm) and Hips-106cm.
