44years ago in August was like this weather. My mom gave me some money to buy a hat /cap that I like every Summer. So that I had many different design hats and caps. Because I loved being outside to play till dusk to go fishing, swimming, to go an athletic park and to find new place where I have ever visited by my tinny bicycle. My mom wanted to protect me from sunstroke. That was my happy so busy Summer days. I miss it.

I never have been a dog owner before. But I love dogs too. I first become aware of dogs when I saw a German shepherd that the family owned was that a family of the next door owned. I was about 7-10 years old. I am not sure. The dog's name was 'Osu'. He was chained and caged. My mother said," Don't get close to Osu! It might bite you." I responded,"OK" However, I liked to touch Osu's head. I remember that his head was huge. The dog and me were friends. This was secret to my mother.
I prefer dogs that are large breeds and, not prefer long hair types. Maybe there are only 2 breeds. That's Dobermann or Pitbull. They are too strong to control. Greyhound? It is not my type.
If I get the chance to own a dog now, I would take one from high kill shelters. What ever the breed.
