My mom loves Omochi, which is perfectly mashed and balled special rice. (the special rice is normally called "Mochigome". More sticky and softer than regular rice.)
My mom does not buy Omochi at a supermarket. She asks Omochi- shop every year-end. Omochi Professional provides excellent quality Omochis, which are my mom's favourite.
She wants to share how lovely the Omochis are.
"Hey, Masako, would you like to have some Omochis?" said Mom on the phone on the 3rd of January.
I responded "If you have them too much now, send me some."
The 11th of January,
The Omochis arrived.
Mom asked for another Omochis just for me!! It's a lot for JUST ME! (She is keeping the Omochis she bought last month.)
Keeping them fresh is not easy. ..
So, I have been eating Omochi every day since then.
(They are seriously delicious though.)
