What is your favourite tea?

いり番茶IRIBANCHA (一保堂Ippodo)

This tea is my recent favourite. Many Japanese tea brands produce Bancha. And The difference is quite subtle among them. What I recommend is obviously different from other Bancha.

一保堂 would be one of the most well-known Japanese tea brands, which provides sophisticated sensed quality teas. Several years ago, my Scottish friend took me to Ippodo Cafe in Ginza, Tokyo. And then, I had this IRIBANCHA the first time.  So, I fell in love.  

I never expected a smoky aroma to a tea. I knew a smoky whisky or smoked cheese. Can you imagine it? I would like to highly recommend such a moody smoky tea. You could buy in famous Japanese department stores on the food floor.
