Between age 7 - 15 that's total for 9 years, Schoolkids must wear a face mask while lunchtime. Your classmates serve for other mates. Imagine canteen's staffs are your classmates. You get your individual tray ( written your name with tray, it is always yours), then join in the queue to be served foods.
All schoolkids wash their hands soon after the study when the lunchtime has begun and wear own face mask. If you have the role to serve foods, you will wear a white gown also a white cap. ( Usually, 4 kids doing service for their classmates ). Bringing everyone's foods' to your classroom.
You get in the queue or serve the food to each one. It's like pretty much like a canteen's process. Soup, one main dish, rice (bread). You go to get milk yourself when it came to the classroom.
Everyone can not take off the mask until everyone served and the class tutor asks the kids. "Everything readied? All OK? " " Let's eat lunch!"
At that moment everyone takes off the mask. and start to bite. It's a fun memory.
This is very much big reason why Japanese do not feel weird to wear a face mask. (many people feel like a school's lunchtime!!)
So, I made one mine yesterday. This is the first time to make. I will modify for the second one.
