I have been buying rice from a domestic rice maker in Tsunanmachi of Niigata- ken which is my personal connection. The maker gave me おもち. Tsunanmachi is the deepest snow town. Natural water in this area is clean, which is generated by only rain and snow. It is a beautiful natural environment.
I am going to eat on the 1st of new year day. I can't wait to cook it.
