It sounds like you had the rights to choose. No! Actually, you were chosen.
People say that the job calls you.
If I talk about my experience, the last job I have worked that was an offer from a HR company. I did not know what organisation when I had looked at the position's explanation. But it described about the organisation name is, "a famous world widely well known" that's it! At that point, I desperately needed the job anyway. If I had more time to choose I would not decide to work in such a big company. On the other hand, what really good was I could meet with fantastic people I have ever met before. I still love them. This experience was exactly 'The job calls you'.
Recent new technology 'AI' will change our world. What people say is, "Many people could lose their job cause of it." It sounds sad. but I believe that the world is always getting better and better even if, it seems that we may get some damage by the new technology. For a little while. people need a time to adjust for the new normal, and then the new normal becomes a normal eventually.
So, do not worry even if you lose your job you will be called from a new job at your great timing!
