Make it shrink before cutting it out

Brand-new fabrics usually shrink during the process of first washing. Hopefully, it within 2~3%. No one knows how much likely it shrinks before the try. You may have an experience. The T-shirt got too tight after the first washing. 

To prevent the shrinking, pre-soak the fabrics in hot water. Dry them naturally (not using a dryer) in favourable weather. Finish by ironing. The fabric will not shrink again. Today, I did those processes on a new fabric. 

I am going to make a summer blouse and a long skirt! These will be coming up as products within a week.
