ONTA- pottery (小鹿田焼 or おんた焼きin Japanese language) is originally from Oita prefecture in the Kyushu area of Japan.
They should be good enough for domestic use. They are handmade, arty and folklore. Some of them are very special masterpieces. I want some affordable types. In summer, I prefer white ceramics but will miss the thick soil material in the winter. I found the below pages by Google. You can see what looks like the pottery goods.
